Land Rover Defender 110 2.5 TDi County 1995
Harris-Mayes are delighted to offer this lovely 1995 (M Reg) Land Rover Defender 110. With the 8 seat configuration, stacks of history and in an overall very smart condition, this Defender won't hang around long. This Defenders has only had two owners during its life. We have looked after this Defender for years now and it has to be one of the best 300tdi's we have seen. The first owner had it as a company car and reportedly had it serviced every 6 months. He had the Defender for 18 Years and only covered 90,000 miles. The current owner who purchased the vehicle roughly 10 years ago had a ground up restoration at time of purchase. This includes a galvanized chassis, new interior and veriest engine work. Whilst the mileage could be considered high on this Defender it drives incredibly well and is by far one of the most solid 300tdi's I have personally driven. This Defender has just had a substantial amount of work completed at Nene Overland in Peterborough prior to sale. This included a new clutch, new brake servo and replace any leaking gaskets/ seals. The interior is in lovely condition, the seats are fairly new Exmoor trim. The paint on the vehicle could do with a refresh if you are going for a Mint condition look. It is starting to bubble and peel, mainly on the bonnet. As mentioned above this Defender is mechanically perfect, just the paint that lets it down. We welcome any inspections and test drives. Harris-Mayes are delighted to offer this stunning 1965 Land Rover Series 2a. Registered new in August 1965 and has stayed in the current ownership since 1989 this is certainly the Series 2a to have. In 2005 this Land Rover underwent a full body/ interior restoration by David Walker at Alex Engineering. The engine is still original with its original millage and has been maintained by us at Harris-Mayes ever since the current owner took ownership back in 1989.
